Today, March 25, 2015, I officially took over ownership of 86 Darfler Lane.
This is crazy. What have I done? This has been a 9-month journey filled with so many ups and downs. It still doesn't quite seem real, until I log into my bank account and see the current balance, which is when I get a cold hard slap of reality.
I am sitting in my NYC apartment this evening, surrounded by bins and bags and tools and things prepped to stuff into my old Subaru to take up to the property to spend my first official weekend as overlord. I am scared and excited.
Promise to write as much as I can when I get back. oh, the stories to be told...
